Past Perfect Tense in hindi Examples & Formula

Past Perfect Tense in hindi :- भूतकाल/बीते हुए समय में जब कोई कार्य (work/action) पूरा हो चुका था या खत्म हो चुके थे तो Past Perfect Tense का उपयोग किया जाता है।

पहचान– यदि किसी बाक्य के अंत में ‘ चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे, मिले थे, गेय था, गयी थी, आया था, आयी थी, लिया था, दिया था, किया था, की थी ’ आता हो।

Structure: Subject + had+ Verb 3rd form + Object.

Example-

Rahul had gone to Delhi. – राहुल दिल्ली चला गया था।
She had cooked. – उसने खाना बनाया था।
We had completed graduation. – हमने ग्रेजुएशन पूरा कर लिया था।
He had taken meal. – उसने भोजन कर लिया था।

Negative: भूतकाल में कोई कार्य पूर्ण नहीं हो चुका था बताने के लिए Helping Verb अर्थात had के साथ Not लगाकर Present Perfect का Negative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Subject + had + not + Verb 3rd form + Object.

Example-

I had not reached the office. – मैं ऑफिस नहीं पहुंचा था।
They had not called the strike. – उन्होंने हड़ताल का आह्वान नहीं किया था।
You had not seen my phone. – आपने मेरा फोन नहीं देखा था।
He had not given money. – उसने पैसे नहीं दिए थे।

Interrogative: भूतकाल में कोई भी कार्यो पूर्ण हुया था इसके related कोई भी साबाल हो जेसे- क्या तुम पिकनिक जा चुके थे, तुम पिकनिक पर कैसे जा चुके थे, कहाँ जा चुके थे, क्यों गेय थे, क्या तुम लोग खाना खा चुके थे, क्या दोस्तो से मिले थे, उसके बाद कहाँ गये थे…… इसतरह से। Helping Verb अर्थात had को Subject के आगे लायेंगे और प्रश्नबाचक शब्द (I.W) को सबसे पहले लिखकर Interrogative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Had + Subject + Verb 3rd form + object?

I.W + had + Subject + Verb 3rd form + object?

Example-

Had he delivered the order? – क्या उसने आदेश दिया था?
When they had played cricket? – कब उन्होंने क्रिकेट खेला था?
Had you achieved your target? – क्या आपने अपना लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया था?
Had you reached the home? – क्या आप घर पहुँच चुके थे?

Interro-Negative: Had के साथ Not को संकुचन (Contraction) कोर के Interrogative-Negative Sentence बनाया जाता है। (जेसे- Had not- hadn’t)

Structure: Had + Subject + not + Verb3 + object?

I.W + had + Subject + not + Verb3 + object?

Example-

Had you not eaten? – आपने नहीं खाया था?
Had they not finished the game? – क्या उन्होंने खेल समाप्त नहीं किया?
Why had you not come here? – तुम यहाँ क्यों नहीं आए?
Where had he not played? – वह कहाँ नहीं खेला था?

यदि भूतकाल (past) में दो कार्य हुया था और एक कार्य दूसरे कार्य से पहले पूर्ण रूप से समाप्त हो गेया था तो, पहले समाप्त होने बाले कार्य के लिए past perfect tense और बाद में समाप्त होने बाले कार्य के लिए past indefinite tense का प्रयोग होता है।

Past Perfect Tense + before/when + Past Indefinite Tense

Past Indefinite + after + Past Perfect Tense

Rule: 1st subject + had + verb3+ 2nd subject + verb2 + 2nd object.

Example-
The patient had died before the doctor came. – डॉक्टर के आने से पहले ही मरीज की मौत हो चुकी थी।
I reached the station after the train had started. – मैं ट्रेन शुरू होने के बाद स्टेशन पहुँच गया।
When I reached home, my wife had eaten food. – जब मैं घर पहुँचा, मेरी पत्नी ने खाना खा चुका था।
