Present Continuous Tense in hindi | Examples & Formula

Present Continuous Tense :- वर्तमान में जब कोई कार्य चल रहा होता है यानि अभी कोई कार्य चल रहा है या हो रहा है तो Present Continuous tense का प्रयोग किया जाएगा।

पहचान – यदि किसी बाक्य के साथ ‘ रहा है, रही है, रहे है, रहा हूँ, रही हूँ ’ आता है। आजकल, अभी, हाल फिलहाल, इन दिनों, बर्तमान मे जेसे शब्द आये। या फिर आने बाले समय में हो रहा होगा- to express an action that is planned for the future (today, tomorrow, this week, next Monday, next month) तो इसको Present Continuous Tense से बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Subject + is/am/are + Verb1 + ing + Object.

Example-

He is going to market. – वह बाजार जा रहा है।
I am watching movie. – मै मूवी देख रहा हूँ।
It is raining. – बारिश हो रही है।
Radha and Puja are studying. – राधा और पूजा पढ़ाई कर रही हैं।
Ram is visiting his friend this week. – राम इस सप्ताह अपने दोस्त से मिलने जा रहे हैं।
Rakhi is singing a song tonight. – राखी आज रात एक गाना गा रही है।

Note: यदि Subject First Person Singular Number- I तो Am, Third Person Singular Number- He, She, It, Noun singular तो Is और बाकी You, We, They, Noun Plural के साथ Are का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Negative: अभी कार्य नहीं चल रहा हें बताने के लिए Helping Verb के साथ Not लगाकर Present Continuous का Negative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Subject + is/am/are + not + Verb1 + ing + Object.

Example-

I am not learning English. – मैं अंग्रेजी नहीं सीख रहा हूं।
They are not playing. – वे नहीं खेल रहे हैं।
You are not listening to me. – तुम मेरी बात नहीं सुन रहे हो।

Interrogative: बर्तमान मे कार्यो जारी हे इसके related कोई भी साबाल हो जेसे- तुम पढ़ाई कहाँ कर रेहे हो, केसे कर रेहे हो, कब से कर रेहे हो, क्या तुम पढ़ाई कर रेहे हो…. इसतरह से । तो Helping Verb अर्थात is/am/are को Subject के आगे लायेंगे और प्रश्नबाचक शब्द (I.W) को सबसे पहले लिखकर Interrogative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Is/Am/Are + Subject + Verb1 + ing + Object?

I.W + is/am/are + Subject + Verb1 + ing + Object?

Example–

Is she singing a song? – क्या वह गाना गा रही है?
What are you doing? – तुम क्या कर रहे हो?
When are we taking first step to English speaking? – हम अंग्रेजी बोलने का पहला कदम कब उठा रहे हैं?

Interro-Negative: Is/Am/Are के साथ Not को Contraction कोर के Interrogative-Negative Sentence बनाया जाता है । (जेसे- Is not- isn’t, Am not- amn’t, Are not- aren’t)

Structure: Is/Am/Are + Subject + not + Verb1 + ing + Object?

I.W + is/am/are + Subject + not + Verb + ing + Object?

Example-

Why are they not going home tonight? – वे आज रात घर क्यों नहीं जा रहे हैं?

Are you not preparing for your examination? – क्या आप अपनी परीक्षा की तैयारी नहीं कर रहे हैं?

Is he not playing? – क्या वह नहीं खेल रहा है?

Note- कुछ शब्द ऐसें हें जो Present Continuous Tense की तरह होने के बाद भी Present Indefinite Tense के नियम के अनुसार बनाया जाता है। जेसे- Love, Feel, Hope, Think, hate, fear, believe, See, Recognize, notice, seem…. इन शब्दों के साथ ing जोग नही किया जाता।।

Example- में नदी देख रहा हूँ।– यहाँ पोर (I am seeing the river.) ना होकोर I see the river. होगा।

I am hoping ना हो कोर– I hope. और I am loving you. ना होकोर- I love you. होगा।)

15-मैं फिर से अपना काम नहीं ले रहा हूं।
16-वह एक पत्र लिख रही है।
17-क्या यह ठीक से काम कर रहा है?
18-मैं गिटार नहीं बजा रहा हूं।
19-हम पिकनिक पर जा रहे हैं।
20-मैं आपके बारे में सोच रहा हूँ।
21-आप फास्ट फूड क्यों खा रहे हैं?
22-क्या आप बाजार जा रहे हैं?
23-हम नहीं आ रहे हैं।
24-अर्जुन अंग्रेजी पढ़ा रहा है।
25-आप अपना समय बर्बाद कर रहे हैं।
26-मुझे अपने मित्र का इंतज़ार है।
27-वह काम ठीक से कर रही है।
