Past Perfect Continuous Tense in hindi

Past Perfect Continuous Tense in hindi :-भूतकाल में कोई भी कार्य (work/action) लंबे समय तक लगातार जारी था तो Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग किया जाता है।

पहचान – यदि किसी ‘समय से’ कोई भी कार्य हो ‘ रहा था, रहे थे, रही थी ’ तो इसको Past Perfect Continuous Tense केहेगें । Past Continuous Tense के बाक्य में समय का उल्लेख कर दिया जाए तो Past Perfect Continuous बनता है, मतलब कई भी कार्य चल रहा था इसलिये Continuous और समय के साथ कुछ कार्य खत्म भी हो रहा था इसलिये Perfect इसतारह आप Perfect Continuous को याद कर सकते है।

Structure: Subject + had + been+ Verb + ing + object + since/for + time.

Example-

He had been learning English since January. – वह जनवरी से अंग्रेजी सीख रहा था।
Rahul had been walking for 2 hours. – राहुल 2 घंटे से चल रहा था।
I had been playing since morning. – मैं सुबह से खेल रहा था।
We had been living since 2010. – हम 2010 से रह रहे थे।

Note: Use since- a specific time/starting/Exact point of time (निश्चित समय), like- March 31, or 9:19 a.m., morning, Tuesday, 2015, childhood…etc

Use for – a length of time/duration of time (समय का अंतराल), like- 10 minutes, 2 days, 3 hours, or 5 years…etc

Negative: यदि बीते हुये समय में कोई भी कार्य समय से नहीं चल रहा था बताना हो तो Had के साथ Not लगाकर Past Perfect Continuous का Negative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Subject + had + not + been + Verb + ing + since/for+ object + time.

Example-

I had not been working on this project since yesterday. – मैं कल से इस प्रोजेक्ट पर काम नहीं कर रहा था।
He had not been studying in this college since March. – वह मार्च से इस कॉलेज में नहीं पढ़ रहा था।
I had not been teaching English. – मैं अंग्रेजी नहीं पढ़ा रहा था।
We had not been reading books since Saturday. – हम शनिवार से किताबें नहीं पढ़ रहे थे।

Interrogative: भूतकाल मे कोई भी कार्यो किसी समय से चल रहा था इसके related कोई भी साबाल हो जेसे- 2 दिन से कहाँ बारिश हो रहा था, 2 दिन से क्यो बारिश हो रहा था, क्या 2 दीन से बारिश हो रहा था….. इसतरह से। Had को Subject के आगे लायेंगे और प्रश्नबाचक शब्द (I.W) को सबसे पहले लिखकर Interrogative Sentence बनायेंगे ।

Structure: Had + Subject + been + verb + ing + since/for+ object + time?

I.W + Had + Subject + been + verb + ing + since/for+ object + time?

Example-

Why did your brother been crying since yesterday? – कल से तुम्हारा भाई क्यों रो रहा था?
Where had you been living since 2016? – आप 2016 से कहां रह रहे थे?
Why had you not been pleasing me for 2 days? – आप 2 दिन से मुझे क्यों नहीं खुश कर रहे थे?
Had he been working in this company for last 7 years? – क्या वह पिछले 7 वर्षों से इस कंपनी में काम कर रहे थे?

Interro-Negative: Had के साथ Not को संकुचन (Contraction) कोर के Interrogative-Negative Sentence बनाया जाता है। (जेसे- Had not- hadn’t)

Structure: Had + Subject + been + verb + ing + object + since/for + time?

I.W + had + Subject + not + been + verb + ing + object + since/for + time?

Example-

Had you not been writing a letter for 2 hours? – क्या आप 2 घंटे से पत्र नहीं लिख रहे थे?
Why had they not been knocking at the door since evening? – वे शाम से दरवाजे पर दस्तक क्यों नहीं दे रहे थे?
Why had she not been learning English since Monday? – वह सोमवार से अंग्रेजी क्यों नहीं सीख रही थी?
Had Rahul not been playing cricket for 3 years? – क्या राहुल 3 साल से क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे थे?

भूतकाल में दो कार्य हुया था लेकिन जो कार्य सबसे पहले और लंबे समय तक जारी था उसको Past Perfect Continuous tense और दूसरे को Past Indefinite tense से बनाएंगे ।

Past Perfect Continuous tense + before/when + Past Indefinite tense

Structure: 1st subject + had been + verb + ing + 1st object + 2nd subject + verb2 + 2nd object.

Example-

I had been working at the company for five years when I got the promotion.

I had been reading when Rahim came.

The students had been singing a song when the teacher came.

I had been sleeping when he saw the game.

13-मैं बचपन से ही इसके बारे में सोच रहा था।
14-क्या वे 2017 से अपने प्रोजेक्ट पर काम कर रहे थे?
15-मुझे सुबह से अपना पेन नहीं मिल रहा था।
